St. George

My Mom Ash and I and all of the kiddos went to St. George for a birthday party for my Grandma Harper we had lots of fun. We rented a van to get there and needless to say it didn't start out smooth. As soon as we got the van it was 6pm we made it 10 min from the aiport to a Jack In The Box to eat and when we got done eating we came out to a completly flat tire! We had to wait about an hour and a half for road side assistance to come change the flat tire then we had to go back to the airport and get a new van, by that time finally all the kids were asleep and we had to try to move all of our stuff over without waking them up. We didn't get on the road until like 10pm and had a 7 hour drive. We finally made it and it was worth the hassel.

Ashlie Berkeley and Brixton came over to play with Chaycelee and Buddy we are so lucky they live close and get to play together! Ash and I took a pic and I can't believe how much we look alike we both had our hair in buns (sumo hair as chad calls it)and i think we look like twinners:) Also Buddy wanted to get in on the fun, he thinks he is one of the kiddos!

Chaycelee's 9 month Doctor Appointment

Chaycelee turned 9 months on Sept. 6th I can't believe how the time fly's. She is getting so big and thinks she is all grown up! The doctor said she looks really good and healthy. She is a little low in Iron so she has to take Iron supplements. Things she is doing: sitting, crawling, standing up to things, loves eating, loves playing with Buddy, loves playing with her cousins!(she is OBSESSED with Brixton) She is sleeping through the night goes to bed at 6:30-7 and wakes up at 5 to eat then goes back to bed til 7. She still likes to be wrapped everyone makes fun of me because I double wrap her! Chaycelee's Measurements Weight 17#7oz 22% Height 28 1/4 in. 69% Head Circumference 17in 23%.

San Diego

Over Labor Day Weekend we went to San Diego the McRae family rented a beach house it was tons of fun we had a blast! We played on the beach pretty much all day, walked the board walk, and went body surfing. The water was freezing but once you got in it wasn't too bad you got used to it. Chaycelee hated the sand the first day then the second day she was loving it putting everything she could into her mouth (see weed sand and more sand) I tried to stop her but by after a couple of hours I just gave up and she had a blast! Not A Baby Anymore

Yesterday Chaycelee decided to pull herself to a standing position holding onto the couch, she thought she was so big! I can't believe she is growing up so fast it makes me sad. Soon she isn't going to be a baby anymore and I am going to have to be chasing her around:( I miss the days of her just laying and snuggling!

Buddy

A couple months ago Chad was playing catch with Buddy and Buddy hurt his leg and was hoping around on one leg for two months. Then last week we thought we would start playing catch with buddy again to get him some exercise...bad idea he hurt his other leg. So we decided to take him to the vet because he started just walking on his front two legs(it was crazy to see he looked like a circus dog) we felt so bad for him. We were hopeful that the Vet would have some answers for us. Well they told us that he tore both of his ACL(S) and that we would need to do surgury in both knees and it would cost anywhere from $1000-$1500 per knee. So unfortunatly we can't afford it so poor Buddy has to stay caged up for 4 to 6 weeks to hopefully have scar tissue build around the tear to heal it, they also gave us some pain pills and anti inflamatory pills. Buddy is only four years old I can't believe he has to live with this forever, it makes me sad because I won't be able to take him on runs or play catch or anything very active, and he is such an active dog. We love you Buddy get well soon:)

Chaycelee has been scooting(crawling) for a while now but she just recently started scooting around the house. She started in the living room and made her way to the kitchen where I was cooking. Its really cute, but now she scoots to my feet and whines for me to pick her up(not so cute!) She has such a spunky personality, I love the little Princess!

7 MONTHS OLD

Chaycelee is 7 months old and I can't believe it...how time flys!
Chaycelee has such a cute personality she is always smiling, my dad calls her smiley! She is the happiest baby I know:) Things she is doing She eats rice cereal fruits and veggies, she sits up on her own, she waves bye(she only has done it a couple of times. The first time we were eating at BJS and a lady came over to say how cute she was and Chaycelee just started waving at her it was so cute!) She also just started to crawl its kind of a scoot/crawl so now she follows me everywhere! We love her so much and can't imagine our life without her.

So I will Let Ashlie(my sis) tell the story, but let me just tell you we were talking about delivering babies and how fun it would be to just be surprised and everything be hectic trying to make it to the hospital, because with our firsts we were both induced(she was due July 24)...well after today I learned don't ask for something if your not ready for it;) let me just say I am exausted!!!

Sore Sore Sore AND More Sore!

So Chad and I have been working out with a Personal Trainer (Jordan) and he is kicking our butts. We started on June 21 and let me tell you that first week I couldn't even walk or lift my arms to put my hair in a ponytail...and I thought I was in pretty good shape before;) My goal is to lose 10 lbs and look nice and toned I know I can do it if im working out this hard and watching the sweets and my portions. So if anyone wants a butt kicking workout let me know his pricing is very reasonable.

When Chaycelee was born it was a big adjustment for all of us...I think Buddy took it the hardest:( He went from getting all of the attention to only getting alittle. 6 Months Old

Chaycelee turned six months old on June 6th she is growing so fast. We love the stage she is in now she is contant smiles and busy busy busy! Things she is doing: sits up by herself (for the most part), rolls over both ways, smiles, giggles, and has a little additude thats for sure (she gets that from her dad!) Her doctors appointment went great she got another round of shots. The doctor said she is growing good and that I can start to give her rice cereal. Also he said to start letting her cry through the night. She goes to bed at 7 and sleeps til about 2 or 3 and I go in and just give her her binky, then gets up about 6 to eat then goes back to bed til 7:30. So she is on a pretty good schedule.

Chad and I had a couple of stressful weeks, we had been asked to speak in church on Being Self Reliant. Chad was excited but nervous and I was a complete wreck! I hate getting up infront of people and talking...so I had my talk all written out word for word;) So funny story I get up there and try to add lib and tell a joke and haha totally got tongue twisted... I guess I should just stick to the script! Chad did great he is good about talking infront of people. Needless to say we're glad the weekend is over!

So it was Sunday Mothers Day morning and we have church at 8am we were all ready to go and be there 15 min early to be able to sit in the comfy seats when Chad puts Chaycelee in her carseat and says "what is all over the front of her dress?" I look down and sure enough she had had a BIG TIME BLOWOUT up the front and the back so we were rushing to get a new dress on and stick the clothes in the washer...needless to say we didn't get to sit on the comfy chairs we ended up in the very back row! HaHa oh well...Happy Mothers day To ME! I Love It:)

So Chaycelee turned five months old a couple days ago and man the time has flown by I love her so much...as for my body im trying to get back into shape and the last 8 pounds are really being stubborn! I have always worked out so I think its time to trick my body so chad has got me on a weights workout instead of all of the cardio I was doing we will see! So far I am sore most the days so I guess that is a good sign, I am hoping I will just get lucky and one day it will just fall off! I am still breastfeeding so I cant really get too strict with my diet ( which im not complaining about...I hate dieting!)

Some people have been telling me that Chaycelee looks like Berkeley did as a baby, I can't see it. It's funny because at every Doctors appointment they seem to be the same height weight and head circumference. I have one picture of Chaycelee and one of Berkeley let me know what you think?! I cannot believe Chaycelee is four months old time has flown by so fast I can't imagine our life without her we are so blessed to have such a sweet spirit...she is our LiTtlE tInY pRiNcEsS!
We went to Chaycelee's 4 month doctors appointment today, we were excited to see her measurments but nervous for her to get her second round of shots. She did great she cried for a min then was just fine just was kinda tired the rest of the day. The doctor said she looked great and was growing;) Milestones...Chaycelee can smile giggle and role over from back to tummy and occationally from tummy to back, she supports head really well and can stand up when you hold her on your lap.

Man I Miss Dancing!

The other day Chad and I had the opportunity to go to the Suns Game it was lots of fun. Chad goes to watch the game but I could care less I like to watch the dancers! A couple of my girlfriends are on the Suns Dance team that I danced with on the AZ Rattlers so its fun to watch them:) I came across this picture and it just reminds me of how much fun I had while dancing with the Rattlers...I miss it so much!!! If I remember right this was a event at Outback Steak House for all the Football Players and the Season Ticket holders, man did we have a blast! Oh the good ol days:)

Saturday Date Night

This Saturday we went out on a date we decided to eat at Cheesecake Factory, it was so yummy. Then after we ate we went to the mall and decided to get Chaycelee's ears pierced Chad was not sure about it but I wanted them done before she started pulling on her ears. We went to Claire's and got them done I was nervous the girl that was going to pierce them seemed really young, but she did a great job. It was over before we knew it and Chaycelee only cried for a min then was fine. Then when we got home she layed and kicked on the floor and was telling us so many stories. She was also trying really hard to roll over from her back to her tummy.

Today Chaycelee just turned 3 months so as soon as we got up and going this morning we headed down to the gym to get her a membership. I am so excited to start working out...I know im weird;) Tonight me and Ashlie are going to try the Latin Heat class...I will let you know how it goes, I will probably be sore. My goal is to lose my last 10 pounds from pregnancy in 1 month...is that too much too ask?!

The Boppy was my best friend when I was new at breastfeeding it made things alot easier. Chad is also a BIG FAN of the Boppy but he has a different use for it. I walked in the living room to see Chad all curled up taking a nap, I almost died laughing;) I was wondering how come it was starting to feel a little flat! Yesterday we went to Chaycelee's Two month check up Dr. Jones said she is growing and looks healthy and strong. She had to get her shots and she was not a happy girl but she was tuff...not fun for mom and dad:( The nurse was really fast it was over before we knew it.

New Years Eve!

On New Years Eve Chad and I went to a going away party for Aaron(chads brother) he joined the Marines and is leaving in January to go to boot camp. It was alot of fun...but freezing so we didn't stay long and my mom was babysitting so we had to get back to little chaycelee. So we spent the New Year sleeping on Ashlie's floor while we were suposed to be watching Dispicable me...we are lame! And I didn't get any pictures I forgot my camera.
Ok so 2010 came and went so fast I can't believe the year is gone. I am so excited for 2011 it is going to be a whole new experience. I am a mom and its crazy, Chaycelee is 4 weeks old today and I am finally starting to get the hang of it...I think(if you ever get the hang of it). My New Years resolution is to try to have dinner made every night, I don't know why this is so hard for me to do but I really do struggle! Also I want to train to run a 1/2 marathon again, I ran one 2 years ago but I would like to do it agian the problem will be finding someone who is crazy enough to do it( I don't think I can talk my mom or my sister into doing it:) Well hopefully 2011 has some good things instore for our family...we will see!

We had a great Christmas this year we spent it at my parents house. We stayed the night on Christmas Eve and watched old Christmas home videos of us kids when we were little, it was fun to see how excited we were for Christmas morning;) Then on Christmas we opened presents and had a yummy breakfast and then the boys went shooting and us girls stayed home and started the cooking.

We checked in the Hospital Sunday December 5th to be induced. Chaycelee came on Monday December 6th at 5:47pm She was 7pounds 3 ounces and 20.1 inches long. She is just perfect, we are so blessed to have her in our lives.

This year for Halloween was kind of low key we just went to our ward Fall Festival Chad was dressed as a Fire Man and i was a Baseball player. Ash and chad met us there they used to be in our ward before they moved, Chad was Ernie, Ash was a Bunny, and Berkeley was a Ladybug!

The First thing we did when we got there was Brady and Trent took us to pull Crab and Shrimp pots, we also caught an Octopus or maybe its a Star Fish... I can't tell ha ha :)We sure did miss those boys they have been in Alaska since April...and they definitely look like it!

The first day was quite crazy after we caught the Shrimp and Crab we went cruising in the boat and came across a dead Whale...it was sad. Then when we returned to the lodge Chad fell getting out of the boat and gashed his knee bad we thought we were going to have to fly him into the hospital, but thanks to Dr Dave and a Priesthood blessing some super glue and butterfly bandages it healed just fine...Just our luck on the first day!I told Chad he should tell everyone he cut it wrestling a Bear!
